Quick Start

  • Pick up all weeklies in Silvermoon for sparks.
  • Grab hard preys and complete faction activities.
  • Claim your 4 champion gear pieces (246 ilvl).
  • Do upgrade world quests, spend crests, then M0 world tour.

Prerequisites

  • You have a level 90 character.
  • You have completed the Midnight campaign (or will skip it).
  • Ideally, you've done Sojourner achievements for champion renown (246 gear).
Priority:

Alt Gearing Loop (~2 Hours)

The complete max-level alt gearing checklist — from weeklies to M0 world tour.

1

Pick Up Weekly Quests in Silvermoon

High
Head to Silvermoon and grab all available weekly quests. The weeklies award two sparks which are critical for crafting.
Tip: Take the weekly that requires the Eversong event — you'll be doing it later anyway when completing your faction activities.
2

Pick Up Hard Prey Quests

High
Grab your two hard prey quests for veteran caches. These are valuable early rewards.
Tip: Plan to do your hard preys in the zone where you'll be doing an event later — saves time.
3

Skip the Campaign (If Needed)

High
If you haven't skipped the campaign yet, talk to Soridormi in the Silvermoon Inn to skip it immediately.
/way 55.6 69.8
Don't waste time repeating the campaign on alts.
4

Claim Champion Gear from Factions

High
Pick up your 4 pieces of Champion gear (246 ilvl) from the faction quartermasters. These are the best pre-raid pieces you can get from reputation rewards.
See the Champion Gear table below for the full breakdown by faction and slot.
5

Complete 4 Weekly Faction Activities

High
Do the 4 weekly activities from the factions to earn your second spark (2 total sparks this week). Each faction has one activity — complete all four.
Tip: Combine these with hard preys whenever possible (e.g. do preys in the zone where you're doing an event).
6

World Quest Swoop

Med
Open your map and check which world quests give gear upgrades for your current item level. Do all the ones that are upgrades — skip the rest.
This is a quick but impactful step that fills in weak slots before M0s.
7

Use Your Adventurer Crests

Med
Spend your Adventurer Crests now — they become useless quickly as you progress past their item level range. Don't hoard them.
Note on Veteran Crests: Do NOT spend your Veteran Crests right now. Hold onto them until Heroic week begins, since you don't yet know which gear pieces you will get as drops.
8

Craft Blue Gear at the Work Order Bench

MedOptional
You can craft blue items at the work order bench for very cheap — roughly 200g in materials plus some Adventurer Crests for 233 ilvl items. A fast and affordable way to fill remaining gear gaps.

Note: Great for filling slots where you have no drops yet

9

Mythic 0 World Tour

High
Now that you're close to ~220 ilvl, it's time to run your M0 world tour. Queue or group up for all available Mythic 0 dungeons for significant gear upgrades.
This is the biggest single gear jump you'll get in one session.
10

Profession Knowledge Points

Med
Maximize your profession skill level early with these sources:
Darkmoon Faire: Grants profession knowledge once per fair.
Velassian Treatises: These are Warbound and work-orderable. Use one per profession weekly for skill points.
Knowledge Treasures: Use the HandyNotes addon to locate one-time use knowledge treasures scattered across the world.

Champion Gear from Renown (246 ilvl)

By leveling reputation to the Champion track, you can earn powerful 246 ilvl gear pieces from specific factions. Completing Sojourner in each zone is the fastest way to get there.

Frequently Asked Questions

How long does the alt gearing loop take?

Around 2 hours if you combine steps efficiently — for example, doing hard preys in the zone where you're completing a faction event.

How do I get 246 ilvl Champion gear?

Complete Sojourner achievements in each zone to earn reputation to unlock the Champion track gear from renown. This unlocks 246 ilvl pieces: Helm (Silvermoon Court R9), Neck (Amani Tribe R9), Belt (Hara'ti R8), and Trinket (The Singularity R7).

What should I do with Adventurer Crests?

Spend them immediately — they become useless quickly. Use them to craft 233 ilvl blue gear at the work order bench (costs ~200g in mats) to fill weak slots before your M0 tour.

When should I start Mythic 0 dungeons?

Once you're around ~220 ilvl after completing world quests and crafting blue gear. The M0 world tour is the biggest single gear jump you'll get in one session.

Pro Tips

  • Combine hard preys with faction events — do them in the same zone to save time
  • Spend Adventurer Crests immediately — they become useless fast
  • Craft blue gear at the work order bench for ~200g to fill weak slots before M0s
  • The M0 world tour is the biggest single gear jump — aim for ~220 ilvl before starting
