When did Patch 12.1 and Season 2 launch?
Patch 12.1: Curse of Ula’tek is now **live as of August 11, 2026**. Midnight Season 2 begins on **August 18, 2026** (August 19 in Europe). Follow this guide for your full Season 2 gearing route.
Will my Season 1 gear be useless?
Not immediately. Strong Season 1 gear will help you enter the new content, but Season 2 introduces a **46 item-level seasonal increase**. Gear only as far as needed for a goal you still want to complete.
Do I need to choose Solo, Mythic+, or Raid?
No. You do not need one main path or all three. They are interchangeable gear sources, and their breakpoints are **not mandatory chores**. Play any combination you enjoy at a level you can clear consistently.
What if I do not have a geared main?
Start at Step 1. The guide only requires level 90; Warbound gear, Renown rewards, Field Accolade caches, Delve progress, Dawncrest discounts, and Voidforge access are optional account shortcuts.
