    Apply one verified change

    Retest after changing a talent, item, enchant, or embellishment instead of replacing everything at once.

PVE Optimization

Sim DPS Gear

SimulationCraft (SimC) and Raidbots are strongest for comparing DPS gear and damage-focused choices on your own character.

Raidbots does not simulate raid healing, and tank survival results are not reliable. Healers should use healing-focused tools such as QELive plus class resources; tanks should combine class guidance, logs, and the defensive needs of the encounter.

  1. Install the SimulationCraft addon.
  2. Type /simc in-game and copy the text.
  3. Go to Raidbots.com.
  4. Paste your data into Top Gear to compare items in your bag, or Droptimizer to see what dungeon/raid drops are best for you.
  5. For a supported DPS specialization, choose a fight style that resembles your content and compare the resulting damage estimates.

Find Best Talents

Don't use generic talent builds. Adapt to the boss.

Step-by-Step on WarcraftLogs:

  1. Open the current WarcraftLogs Raid Rankings.
  2. Select the boss, difficulty, and recent patch range that match your progression.
  3. Filter by your class and specialization, then compare similar item levels and kill lengths.
  4. Inspect several successful logs instead of relying only on the highest parses.
  5. Use recurring talent choices as a starting point, validate the encounter mechanics, and simulate your own gear when your role is supported.

A recurring talent is evidence to investigate, not a command to copy it.
